Prediction market law in Vermont

No public action found

Vermont has taken no enforcement action; a 2026 House bill to prohibit certain prediction markets died in committee when the session ended.

No Vermont cease-and-desist or lawsuit against prediction markets was found. H.913, introduced in February 2026, would have prohibited certain prediction-market contracts; it got a committee walk-through in April 2026 but no vote and died when the 2025-2026 legislative biennium adjourned in late May 2026. Vermont joined the June 2026 amicus brief supporting Ohio.
